Getting To Know Barbara Reeves

Barbara was born on Long Island, New York. Her mother was an artist and her father a chief warrant officer in the Navy. She moved to Alabama at the age of 7 with her family. Throughout school, Barbara had numerous interests, including art, reading, sewing, dancing, singing, drawing, playing baseball, track, oil painting, bowling and roller skating.
She had two career ambitions: to become an artist and to become a doctor. Barbara married and had four sons and enjoyed the active life of keeping up with four boys.
Later, Barbara studied interior design and began expressing her artistic talents by helping her friends, clients and family create beautiful homes in which to live. Now Barbara expresses these same talents by helping her clients find homes that are perfect for them. She also worked in her family's building supply business, gaining experience that would later be of value to her real estate clients who had homes built.
Barbara is happily married to her husband Gerald. They live on a seventeen acre estate where the deer, turkey and wild life roam and play. The Victorian home shown here is Barbara's home and one of her creations. Barbara and Gerald have two granddaughters and one grandson. They enjoy spending time with their kids and grandkids, traveling, taking cruises, and life in general.
